Keyboard symbols

I posted a thread earlier about my problem with Keyboard symbols, whereby sometimes the @ symbol is found on the " key and vice versa and sometimes I can't find the GBP symbol at all (like now). I marked my thread as solves after a few days with no problems, but now the same thing is happening. The fact that it is intermittent is very puzzling - to me at least.
any more ideas?

Hi Jacspear, it sounds like you've got your Keyboard settings set to US, whereas you've got a UK keyboard. The same thing happens to me if I don't configure the keyboard as UK.

Can you please go to Start > Settings > Time and Language > Language and then confirm that English (United Kingdom) is the only language set under "preferred languages"?
