Long ago, i the dark ages of portable phones, I had several Nokia phones.
I used to make regularely backups of my data on these phones.
Now I have about 1,500 old MMS messages (with pictures) and I would like to read them.
Problem is that I can not find any software to decode them.
I wrote to Nokia support and asked them if they new of some program to read the messages, but their answer was that I should contact Microsoft as Microsoft own Nokia phones now.
Does anybody here know how to read these MMS messages?
TIA

Hi GG,

does the phone and your computer have Bluetooth?, have you tried that route as well as adding a phone (not sure if that works with Bluetooth?. :)

???????????????

How does adding a phone with Bluetooth (adding a phone to what???) is going to enable me to read the *.MMS files?
Has Bluetooth a built in MMS reader?

No it hasn't but it might enable you to access the phone?.
Accessing my smartphone is no problem.
But the files can not be read.
Not on the smartphone and not on my notebook.
MMs files are a Nokia property and can only be read with the appropriate software.

In case you should not have read the original post, I DON'T HAVE A NOKIA PHONE ANYMORE.

Try to see if the Nokia PC suite is still availiable:
https://www.pcmatic.com/company/libraries/fileextension/detail.asp?ext=mms.html

If not available then try the other software listed.
I've tried that already.
Nokia don't sell the PC-Suite separately.
They told me to go to Microsoft if I don't have a Nokia phone.
Would be nice if someone still has a copy of the PC-SUITE and would like to share it.
