Monitor display all black background

The monitor screen shows all black background, should be white. Desktop icons are all in color. Amy web site page all black background with some colors. It makes it difficult to find what you are looking for. You have to point the mouse at an item and click it to see if you located what you need. This problem occurred few days ago after starting windows in the morning. It is very annoying and I hope someone has a fix. thank you.

Check Settings > Personalization > Color. Check if your Grey scale settings is ON and color filter is turned off.
The desktop colors can be customized to your liking in Personalization settings.
