Most desktop applications started crashing randomly

that pretty clearly states it, i am at a total loss... i have never encountered a problem like it. the only thing i can tell you is probably related to the issue is that it began after i cleared ALOT of space on my C: Drive. but applications like Steam, Epic Launcher, and League of Legends. previously working perfectly fine no longer work. i did not delete anything like AppData from my C: Drive and furthermore, Steam isnt even on my C drive its on my D drive which i have not messed with. i really need help with this as it kind of makes a computer (especially a GAMING COMPUTER) useless. also could be caused by the new microsoft update...

What exactly did you delete? Files, programs? And how where they removed?
