Need help with renaming files or deleting them.

Every single time that I rename a file or folder or worksheet, I have to restart my computer in order for the change to be effective. If I am deleting a file from my desktop through the folders, I have to restart it. Does anybody know what to do to eliminate this hassle. Thanks.

The next time you do this.....
Right click a blank area of the desktop and choose "Refresh" from the context menu.
OR
IF in file explorer, click the "refresh" icon at the end of the address bar (between the address bar and the search box.
Not sure why exactly but many have been reporting a latency in file explorer refreshing the view.
It definitely should not require a restart though.
