Network Setup Problem

I have 2 pc’s on a private network. After a Windows10 update only one pc is shown on the network as a pc. The other pc is shown as a Media Device and when activated only plays music from the library because that is what the icon on the network is showing. How can the pc be changed to a computer setting on the network? That pc is my main computer with all my files and folders that I share with the other pc but cannot be accessed because of the Media Device designation. Can anybody offer any advice or assistance? Thanks.
