I've been experiencing issues with my Nvidia GeForce GT 540M dedicated graphics card causing emulators to crash for about a year now. Whenever I play games in emulators using the Nvidia GeForce GT 540M, the PC crashes after about a minute of entering the game. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide assistance. I'm very disappointed that I'm unable to play games on my laptop.

System Specifications:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
Processor: 2nd generation Intel Core i7
RAM: 8GB DDR3
Graphics Cards: Nvidia GeForce GT 540M, Intel Graphics 3000
Cores: 4
Logical Processors: 8
I've tried various solutions found on YouTube, but did not help.

Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure you have the latest drivers installed. Visit the official Nvidia website to download the most recent drivers for the GT 540M.

Adjust Graphics Settings: Lowering in-game graphics settings can reduce the strain on the GPU, potentially preventing crashes.

Monitor Temperatures: Overheating can cause crashes. Use monitoring software to check GPU temperatures and clean any dust from your laptop's cooling system.

Set Exceptions in Nvidia Control Panel: Some users have found success by adding the emulator as an exception in the Nvidia Control Panel, ensuring it uses the integrated graphics instead of the dedicated GPU.
