I'm looking for an offline password/code generator that simply generates a random password/code, displays it for me to copy into a password book, and then closes without saving the generated password anywhere on my computer and does not send the password to anywhere online. The software should be resident on my computer and require no internet access to run.

I have found a few offline password/code generators but the vast majority if not all are actually password/code managers. This is not what I'm looking for. I want no management element. I just want an offline random password/code generator. Does anyone have info on such a tool? I note is some articles Microsoft has or is supposed to have something in the Windows 10 utilities, but I can't find it.

I would be grateful for any information on programs or tools that I am looking for.

Thanks,

I looked awhile back and was also wanting one that didn't require install. The only thing I could find was an old version "WiFi Password Key Generator v1.5".

I just downloaded and tested the generator from a link myself. You can grab the file I uploaded, or use the link I downloaded from. That is if you are interested.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I never needed management features.

Thank you, Clifford,

I was looking for 1) A program to download, have resident on my computer, and have no external communication thereafter and to have no record of passwords generated except in my paper password book, or, 2) a program already resident on my computer provided with MS Windows 10, that meets the above criteria. I will take a look at what you provided. Your help is greatly appreciated.
