I'm using OUTLOOK 2010 PC based for my email. The issue is YAHOO can't control the SPAM I'm Getting. I can't figure out how to send all mail from YAHOO to my junk folder. Many use names such as (e-mail address removed). Years ago I used the wildcard such as *@yahoo.com but can't get that to work with outlook. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

I've not used Outlook in a long time so I'm not 100% certain as to how you start a new rule in the 2010 edition.

To deal with Yahoo Spam and so forth though, the method would be along these lines:
  • Select Tools > Rules and alerts or if 2010 edition does not have this then select Tools > Rules wizard then click New
  • Start from a blank rule
  • Select the Check messages when they arrive then click Next
  • Select the with specific words in the messages header option
  • Click on Specific words and type: X-YahooFilteredBulk then click OK
  • Carry on setting up your new rule to your liking.
