Post installation problem

Following upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I found that the appearance on my computer screen had altered drastically. Icons on my Desktop were much bigger than I was used to, and the text on individual pages was much larger. What can I do to reduce the size of what appears on my screen (s)?

You may be operating with the Windows Basic Graphics Driver. Try updating your driver with one compatible with Windows 10. If there are no drivers available and you tried changing the screen resolution, you may have to buy a new graphics card compatible with Windows 10.
