Problems with "Disk Cleanup" following update to 20H2

With much help from "Grizzly" and "Bighorn" I was recently successful in updating my wife's laptop from 1909 to 20H2. However, I now find I can run Disk Cleanup once, but, if I then click on "Clean up system files," nothing happens. If I cancel the operation (by either hitting Cancel or the X), the dialog box closes. However, subsequent attempts to run Disk Cleanup don't do anything anymore. Anyone else had a similar experience?
