Purchased W10, getting same advertising...Am I due compersation

I had to buy windows 10 for a new install, but I am getting the same ad pop up ad my free edition on a laptop

HANG ON... windows free I would expect ads, paid ...no way. All paid software is ad free!!!!

My question is where do I claim my cut from windows...annoyance, download cost for ads

or did I sign my life away when I ticked the box

Welcome to the new age of Advertising. MS in its infinite wisdom decided that adding advertising to Skype wasn't enough, so MS added it to Outlook.com....then added it to the OS itself. It's just the way it is.

You can minimalize the adds in your browsers with ad blocker extensions or plugins.
