Question moving a HHD from old PC to a new PC

Bought a PC. I want to move my storage drive (its a 2nd drive with back ups only, so not the boot drive).
Is there any thing special I will need to do with the new PC? Also, this drive is partioned as “E” drive and “F” drive.
Will new pc recognize as same letters or safe to simply change drive letters if is different?

No....you can move it with out issue. As for the drive letters.....it may change depending on what other drives are in the system...ie CD/DVD, Floppy - if you have one, card reader with multiple slots as each slot will get a drive letter and so on.

If hdd is secondary, it should have no problems
