When I type question mark or apostrophe I get È & trouble selecting text.

This just started today, when I type a question mark or apostrophe I get È. I donèt know whyÉ but the reason I came here in the first place is that when I try to select text or data, it breaks off before I can complete the selection. I often has to repeat the action multiple times before I can get the data or text selected.

I think the problem is with the wireless mouse. The hard wired mouse is not giving me the same problem. So, either it needs a firmware upgrade or replacement. Thanks for your consideration here.

it might also be the battery in the wireless mouse?.

Probably not the case, have you checked that Keyboard is set for United Kingdom (English) or at least English language. Worth checking.
