Questions On PIN Removal & Reading WORD ?

Hello,

Has taken me (Sr. Citizen) so much time now to get things more or less the way i want them, thought I'd
ask you experts first about this.

I have a Mac, and use Bootcamp to go back and forth.
Slow switching, very, but works.

a. Every time I enter the Windows10 side, it asks me for my PIN.
Real pain.

I see that there is a way to have it not do so.

If I disable or dump this PIN requirement from the Settings Menu, will it ask me
for "anything" else instead, or perfectly reasonable and safe
to do so ? Any caveats ?

b. I have the MS Office suite on the Mac side (only).

If I have, e.g., a WORD document created on the Mac side and placed in a USB stick,
when I switch to the Windows 10 side, should it be readable ?

1. The PIN number for your log-in to Windows is tied to the actual password you established so removing the PIN most likely will require using the Password.

2. Most likely but probably not in Word but it should in WordPad. [Start, W section, Windows Accessories]
