Hi Jos,

Welcome to the Forum.

To restore the recycle bin to desktop:
  • Left-click on Start
  • Left-click on the Settings cog
  • Left-click on Personalization
  • In left pane click on Themes
  • On right pane click Desktop icon settings
  • Check the box next to Recycle Bin
  • Click OK
