Reinstalling same update daily

Hi

Windows 10 has installed the same major update four days running and I'd like to know how to stop this happening. I'd be happy to keep the updates happening automatically but if the only way is to turn that off please explain how. The last two times I have noticed that at the end I get a message something like installing previous version of Windows. So that means it's overriding the whole process at the end and reverting to the version I had? Of course the process is very time consuming and I can't use the PC until it's done.

Go to the Windows Update Catalogue and search for the update. Download it and run it manually. It may say it's already installed or it might update again and fix your problem.

Thanks OGG. This happened four days straight and hasn't happened the last four days so it might be ok. If I have any more problems I'll try your advice.
