SD card (not so) auto run...

A head scratcher for sure and very likely just "one of those MS things" but despite having all the settings in the various places set for my SD card to "open in Explorer" when inseted it fails to do so any more.I have crossed all my i's and dotted my t's and am at a loss,the USB autorun open just fine in explorer as it should via my settings.
It by no means is a big deal but it bugs me when something SHOULD work but doesn't despite the settings..( although I'm getting use to it )
and ideas?

just to mention,I have set the SD media to open in explorer from the control panel,autoruns and such as well as in the settings,autoruns section.

It makes no sense at all...
Maybe between your pc and mine,we can get one working (as it should) computer!...here's to wishful thinking..
