Hello Clayton and welcome to the forum.
It might be helpful if you could include some details about the particular computer involved in your problem.
Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, AIO, 2in1, etc.
Manufacturer's Name, Model Name, Model Number (complete model number)
Along with some information about your install.....
Upgrade or Clean Install, if upgrade from what previous Operating System?
Were you experiencing the problem before the upgrade?
How long has the problem been going on.
Which power plan you are using (Custom Plan based on the Manufacturer, or a native power plan from Windows 10.
Things like that might help you get a more relevant response.

Hi Trouble
I have an HP Pavilion desktop that I bought with windows 8 installed. I later updated to 8.1 and then about the second week of September I then updated to windows 10. The machine ran well up to last week I guess was the first time I could not wake it from sleep mode. It did it again today, thus my first post. Each of the two times I just did a cold reboot. Today it has come out of sleep mode at least three times. Did not have the problem with windows 8 and the first month of windows 10 worked OK. The power plan is a simple shut down the monitor after 10 minutes and the computer after 15 minutes.

Maybe try this and see if it has any impact on the issue.....
Right click the start button and choose Command Prompt (Admin)
In the command prompt type
powercfg -h off
hit enter
if you are prompted to reboot then please do.

You can reverse this at any time by simply typing (in another admin command prompt)
powercfg -h on
hit enter

Is it possibly going into hibernate. I did have some problems, both in 8.1 and Windows 10, with a couple of laptops not "waking up"

IF you dont feel the need for hibernating - Ditto to Troubles path, but type:

To Enable Hibernate -
powercfg -h on and press Enter.

To Disable Hibernate -
powercfg -h off and press Enter.
