System disk usage spikes to 100% with every action

Whenever I open an app, start a game, or even just reload a browser tab, my system disk usage spikes to 100% for a moment and then drops back down. It’s really annoying. I’ve already disabled Superfetch, but it didn’t help.

Is there a fix for this?
