There's a newer VIA HD Audio driver (do I need to install it ?)

My MB has on board audio, it seems to work fine. The driver it has now is 6/15/2015 6.0.11.800
My driver search app found a newer one 12/03/2015 6.0.11.1100e
My audio works fine now but I would like my ear buds to be a little louder. What do you people suggest ?
Would this new driver help this ? If so, how do I install this new driver ?
Do I have to delete the old driver then install or what ?

My MB has on board audio

IF the source is from the board manufacturer then I would think that perhaps it might be OK to install.
IF on the other hand your source is some third party driver finder product...... I'm gonna go with no, especially if it seems to be working fine now.
I suppose you can always roll it back after the fact but it may not be worth the effort.

I looked on ASUS and the MB is so old there's nothing there, under support.
So I'll do what you suggest and just let it slide on by .
