Prior to the windows 10 upgrade I had my mouse settings such that when a USB mouse was plugged in the touchpad was disabled. In window 10, the functionality is still available however now I have to manually change the settings each time I turn on my laptop. Has anyone found a solution?

Thanks

Generally, such features are a product of the hardware driver and associated software package.
You might want to check either with the computer manufacturer or the specific trackpad manufacturer (Elan, Alps, Synaptic) and see if there is an updated Windows 10 driver available for your touchpad.
