The HDD will goes into sleep mode after idling for 30 mins as long as there is no read / write operation perform. (Even when there are files still opening). This is the standard behavior even in Win 7.

But in Windows 10, it failed to restart when I need to access the drive again (example save the opened file). The solution is to unplug and plug in again, but I will lost my file and cause corruption. :(

No problem in Windows 8 or Windows 7.

I don't know if I can be particularly helpful with this specific problem, but I would suggest checking with the Transcend Support website
http://www.transcend-info.com/support/cate-4
And see if there is a firmware update for your particular device or other software or driver package that might address any issues with respect to "sleep" or any other energy / power saving modes in Windows 10.

Other than that I would suggest disabling it (power saving) on the particular USB hub you use to connect the device using
Device Manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers
Right click the USB Root Hub associated with that device and choose properties
Select the Power Management tab from along the top and
Uncheck the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
