SOLVED Transfering files from Win7 to Win10

For years I ran Win7 on my PC. I had thousands of MS Works 8, Word Processor files on it. I recently installed Win10 on my PC. It won't let me install the MS Works 8 program. How can I recover all the Word files on Win10?

if you install LibreOffice, it should be able to read ally our files?. (It is free btw!).

Yep a big + for LibreOffice.

I dumped MS Office Pro Plus 2016 for LibreOffice. The biggest reason is I don't use all that extra stuff. I only used Word and Outlook as my email client. The rest I barely used if I used it at all.

Agreed to LibreOffice.

Also, Microsoft Works 9.x is working on one of my Win10 computers as is another "oldie", Lotus SmartSuite.
