SOLVED Unable to access google

I've just had Windows 10 home installed but the search box takes me to Bing and not straight to Google. I think this might be an old issue and the only advice I've seen has been to load Internet Explorer, which I don't want to do. Is there a better solution?

Click the three dot ellipsis in the top right corner and choose "Settings" on the General tab set your "Open Microsoft Edge with" and your
"Home Page" (Show home button) as https://www.google.com/
Make sure to click the little diskette icon to save your changes

Your problem is not that you can't access Google but that the automation in Edge is set wrong...just as Trouble says above.
