Just checked when I noticed your post.
Sure enough it was there waiting so I installed it which seemed to have gone without a hitch, although the restart afterwards did seem to take a little longer than I would have thought necessary.
I've found that you're not alone in having problems with the install
I have been reading around that not everyone is able to get it to install out of the gate, and needed to do some reboots and other use workarounds to get it to install correctly.

This is getting a bit irritating. I know this is a preview release and is not guaranteed to work properly but it's still irritating. Windows update is preset to auto install and KB3020114 keeps failing and now KB3022827 has also failed. They go through the whole install/restart routine, which by the way is much longer than normal, and it would appear they have installed till you look at your update history. Problem is they keep showing up as available updates and Windows keeps trying to install them necessitating a reboot and sitting through at least 2 or more minutes of install routine. Error code for both fails is 80070005.

Edit: I used my stopwatch and it took 3 minutes 32 seconds from clicking the install button to my log in screen.

If you check the "Windows Insider Hub" app. You'll notice there is some recent mention of this problem and a suggested work around.

Workaround
For the short term, anyone affected by this can get past it with the following workaround:
Restart your PC
Open CMD.exe as an Administrator and run: compact /u /exe /s:%windir%\winsxs\filemaps
Immediately afterwards run Windows Update and Check for Updates
Install KB 3020114
Restart when prompted

Not sure that this applies in your particular instance but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

That and kb3022827 have failed 4 times in a row. It doesn't give a message that it failed after reboot, but it does show as failed in update history.

Ok, I didn't get an error that time. Trying to type with an onscreen keyboard on my tablet. Hooked a mouse up and copy/pasted the command. We'll see if the update takes.

Good to know. Hope it helps others as well. I think Dipsy was having the same problem.
I'd be interested in hearing if it worked for him as well.

I'm glad to hear it.
I follow that Gabriel Aul guy on Twitter that's where I first heard about it. He seems to tweet some timely stuff every once in a while.
