Use start as desktop

Hello, I would like to know if a full screen start menu can be sort of used as the desktop by making it open every time I login or close/minimise a window instead of actually showing the desktop. I don't want to use tablet mode as that makes everything too big. Thanks

Settings > Personalisation > Start > Use Start full screen.

I already have that on, but I would like to make Windows start with the full screen Start Menu when I login or close/minimise a window, essentially making the start as desktop like in Tablet mode (but not using tablet mode).
