Who gets Windows 10 for free?

I have win 7 ultimate and is waiting for WIN 10 Prof.
I have not yet seen the white flag. Ihave auto uodate and so on.
Is there something wrong or are there others who have not got the white flag ?

We have upgraded on my wifes pc

Personally, I wouldn't take any steps to force the upgrade.
There are too many associated potential problems which we've see across this and multiple other forums if you do so.

If you are not particularly skilled in resolving computer related problems you may end up with a non-functioning computer without a way to rescue it.
AND
The actual rewards in upgrading are so nominal as to not justify the potential risks that may result from an unsuccessful upgrade (forced or otherwise).

Anyone considering upgrading to Windows 10 should first make sure that all their critical data is secured with a very recent backup and should also consider making a disk image before going forward.

Failing to do so, in my opinion is simply reckless and short sighted. The time invested is well worth it to assure that your data and system is at least reasonably safe in the event of some unforeseen problem.
