Command prompt "media disconnected ". Cannot get online to find drivers. Have tried to uninstall driver in device manager, then reboot does not work. Lenovo laptop.
Did the Notebook's Wireless/Wi-Fi work in other places like at home? Did the hotel give you the log-in details for their system? Was the Wireless set to Airplane Mode which disables going on line?
Create a partition on your drive and use it to store drivers, or get an external USB drive/USB Flash Drive to store your drivers so that you have them for situations like this.
You may want to consider keeping a Windows image on a bootable flash drive for emergencies as well.
