Ok, I am ready to toss my laptop in the trash. This no internet access is driving me crazy. I can't even go to McDonald's and connect to their wifi so I can get on the internet. I have tried 50 billion suggestions as to how to fix network access after windows 10 update and nothing is working. Here's my question, IF I do a total system reset, will my issue be fixed? I'm ready to wipe it and have backed up everything but want to see if it will fix anything or not???

Try the following:

Go to Device Manager
Select the errant network device
Uninstall it.

Restart the system

- it looks like the automated hardware scan will re-install the device with the default settings on first reboot.

After 3 days searching that worked for me...
