Win 10 64bit Home Screen goes Blank, spasmodically.

My Wife has a HP 650 Laptop running Win10 64bit Home OS. Sine a recent Windows Update (23 Feb), it infrequently, on odd occasions, goes to a Blank Screen (Not a Black or Blue Screen) and just sits there with the Power Light still on. It is not in Sleep or Hibernation Mode. After say 10 minutes I switch off the Power and Reboot, back to normal, as though nothing has happened. I might work fine for a few days and will happen again, for no known reason. It is of interest that this happen only after that Update. Otherwise all is Fine.

Would you be able to post the KB number of the update you are talking about?

To my knowledge there was no update on 23 February this year.

KB3140745 was released on 9 February 2016. Is this the update you mean?

Owen, your monitor cable might be loose.

I believe I stated in my original Post that this is a Laptop and I do not think the internal cable could be loose; If it was the problem would be much more frequent.
