The calendar that came with windows 10 will not show reminders on desktop at the set time, How do I get this to work properly? I am very reliant on this feature!

Where is the download for windows live mail including calendar

Live Mail doesn't come as a separate download, it is bundled with Live Essentials 2012. You can choose to only download and install the mail component which has calendar and contacts included with it.
