I am having problems with Windows 10 Explorer.
When I reboot Explorer appears to work when I open from the task-bar but after a while I find it no longer works correctly (nothing appears to happen when I click on the task bar ICON) - i.e. something appears to corrupt explorer .

I also utilize MetaTrader 4 software (Forex trading). From MT4 I have an ability to open a data folder with explorer but again this fails to work.

I realize this is very vague but struggling to identify what to do to find a solution.

Any help appreciated

How about if you use the Windows Logo key on your keyboard + the E key to open File Explorer.
Does that work consistently?

Thanks for your reply
Tried that - didn't work.

Later I checked the windows application log using the event viewer and found some errors appearing to relate to some anti Malware software. I un-installed the software and all appears fine.
My subscription had recently expired and I used the FREE (for 2 weeks version) - i.e. downloaded in the last few days.
