I would check your battery saver settings. You don't mention if it's a Laptop or Desktop. If it's a Laptop it could be going into the battery saver mode after 5 minutes. If the laptop is plugged in to its power supply most of the time change the sleep time to "Never when plugged in" Desktop change sleep to "never when plugged in"
You can select sleep manually when signing out.

Are you certain it is sleeping, and not hibernating or, perhaps, closing the screen
