Windows 7 function toggle command for Enable/Disable (available on left click) now only has Disable. Is there any way this can be turned back on?

IF the adapter is currently "enabled" then only "disable" will appear. Conversely if it is "disabled" then "enable" will appear.

Your reply is exactly what W7 did ( and what I'm referring to) however W10 does not toggle the enable/disable command.

Try deleting the shortcut icon from your desktop and recreate it.
Right click the start button and choose run and in the run dialog box type
ncpa.cpl
hit enter or click OK.
Select then right click the adapter you are using and choose create shortcut.
You'll get an error, something about can't create here, do you want to put it on your desktop just say yes.
See if the new one works any better.
