Is the WIN10 License tied to the Motherboard or to the CPU + Hard Drive ?
I want to upgrade my Motherboard but keep Current CPU + Hard-Drive and RAM.

So I am wondering if I can keep current WIN 10 License or will I have to buy another one ?

If it's an OEM license....it's tied to the mobo. You can contact MS and explain of a mobo change and MS will reactive it for you. Otherwise you need a retail copy.

If it is OEM and if you made the Manufacture Restore Disk, (usually a 8GB USB) then install it clean and it should Activate by the OEM not MS. I have did this several times for Clients when they needed a new System. and they ordered without OS. I myself have reinstalled by an
was Activated OEM.
