Windows 10 upgrade

I can't get past the lockscreen using what I know IS the correct password. It keeps telling me that it is incorrect. I did what the prompt told me and changed my 'live' password. All that did is change my msn and outlook account password. It does not work on my computers lock screen. If you can help me I would be so happy. I need computer access asap.
