2 monitor startup

I am running 2 monitors on a single card.
on initial startup just a single monitor comes up.

If I pause the startup and do a restart, then the startup comes to a normal end with 2 monitors populated, as it did before the last 2 updates.

So presently it takes a startup and a restart to get the two monitors running
Any ideas ?

What are we talking about here....the boot splash screen or once the computer is completely booted up? If it's just the splash screen, then that's normal...as it does the same on mine. Once the splash screen and login screen pass and it boots up, then in 5 - 7 seconds my 2nd monitor is active and is showing up as extended displays.

Thanks for responding
From power on through the boot splash screen to complete boot-up there is no win10 boot sound and only one screen active.
Restart,
the PC goes through the boot splash screen plays the boot sound and populates both screens almost simultaneously with assigned icons.
the question is, why does it take a boot, then a reset to get 1. the boot sound and 2. the second screen populated ?

Open an elevated command prompt (Command Prompt Admin) and in the command prompt window type
REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power" /V HiberbootEnabled /T REG_dWORD /D 0 /F
hit enter
then type
exit
hit enter
Cold boot the system to test.

I tried 2 methods of putting this in but no success yet
1. export from regedit to documents to backup reg,. did restore point.
2. Open command prompt and tried to paste NG
3. Open command prompt and typed in REG ADD.... NG
I am getting Access denied.
I am admin so ?
Since the reg is a scary place for me to be,
would you kindly walk me through this procedure

Go here
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options
Left column "Choose what the power buttons do"
Click the link near the top that says "Change settings that are currently unavailable?
Remove the check from "Turn on fast startup (recommended)
Cold boot to test
Same thing as the command prompt above, but.....
Since you are getting "Access denied" double check both before and after the cold boot to confirm that the check box remains cleared.

Good to hear. That's at least some progress.
Now if we could just figure out why Fast Startup is messing things up.
Time for more Googling I guess.
