30 Minute Install

[Trouble]

Microsoft says that the Spring Creators Update will "install" in 30 minutes.

I'm pretty sure that they are referencing the second stage of the installation / upgrade following the first "Restart", where you are unable to use the computer and not the overall process from start to finish.

Still..... I'll believe it when I see it.
I would suspect that everyone's experience will vary, based on the specs of the machine that they are upgrading.
A high end machine with a fast processor, lots of memory and an SSD will likely see the 30 minute mark.
A low end machine with an older processor, 4 gigs of ram and a mechanical spinner.... probably not so much.

Just initialized, downloaded, installed and signed back in 33 minutes 2018-03 Cumulative update KB4089848- 1709 (OS Build 16299.334. Older PC 8GB Ram W.D. Spinner. Win 10 Pro.

I realize it's not the Spring Update but it's obvious MS are working on the update process.

yes mine done it in 20 minutes on my HP laptop

similar here. done from initiating the update until after login again just 25 minutes.
PC is an 11year old laptop with 4GB RAM and a 500GB SSD on Windows 10 pro.
