4.8 GB of RAM hardware-reserved.

I have searched all over and found nothing that will solve my problem. For some reason 4.8 GB of RAM are hardware-reserved.

What are you complete system specs? What OS and bit type are you running?

So it's a laptop and has a APU in it. As with all OEM systems with onboard GPU's, some RAM is allocated to the GPU. In your case it looks like the 4.8 is allocated to your GPU.

I'm not familiar with Acer and it's BIOS functions, especially a laptop but you should be able to lower/raise that to your liking in the BIOS.

I cannot find anything to do with my GPU in the BIOS...
