SOLVED Account Picture without halo

Does anybody know how to create an account picture without the small halo effect insert in the middle?

This is Pat Benatar which is the picture I want but there is always a small insert over her nose and mouth as indicated by the smaller picture at upper right.
Does anyone know how to eliminate the insert?

Never mind. I just discovered that disabling show lockscreen picture on sign in screen results in a small picture of Pat centered on a blue background instead of a full screen picture with the small one superimposed in the center.. I'm satisfied.

If I'm a fan of Pat Benatar what does that say about my age? Wonder how many grandchildren she has.
