SOLVED Advise required.

Hello all.

Having a small annoying problem. Therefore I was wondering if someone could offer an solution?

Problem; When trying to set one of my browsers as the "Default" browser, for whatever reason, I find that this can not be done.
This just came out of the blue (so to speak) 2 days ago.

Normal method is go into settings. tap APPS, Web Browser, choose browser from presented list, it should then appear at the bottom as selected. Always has previously. Not now though.

I ran windows Repair Tool to check files plus DISM, result, no problems there.

Currently installed ; Edge,Chrome,Firefox. Not tried it out on Edge, only on Firefox and Chrome and neither will set as default.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Just tried Edge, same there also.

I have Chrome and edge. Edge is the default browser, but I can change that in the edge browser settings. For Chrome, as soon as I open it, I get this (which works)

But I can also change it in the browser settings

Thanks for your help my friend. I have managed to sort it out. Correction! It sorted itself out. Lol.
