All my files (documents, pictures, music) are gone!

At 1am December 10th everything was there, as of 7am everything is missing. All my files and half of my desktop icons are gone. What happened? What can I do to retrieve my important stuff?

Now I find them when I go to "network" (Praise God), but they are not found in "this PC".

Where are these missing files normally kept.
Assuming.... Documents, Music, Pictures, etc....
Have you checked C:\Users\YourUserName?
Are the files located in the folders within that path?

I didn't have anything except for my recycle bin when I disconnected from the internet. Everything was gone. Almost all my settings had reverted back to original. There wasn't anything in any folder - go to "this PC" and all folders were empty. On the internet my home page was gone and so were my favorites. My desktop weather was there, but it was set for TX and I am located in WI. The background screen was what came with Windows 10.
Once I reconnected to the internet I could go to "Network" and my pictures, music and documents were there.
