Anniversary Update causes shut down/restart issues

After updating to Anniversary update, when I selected Power/Shutdown, my PC made a 'boing' sound and closed immediately, without having time for a normal close down procedure.
When I restarted, I got to the screen asking for my Pin but I was unable to enter anything.
I then clicked on restart and it started normally. This happened every time I started over a number of days.
I then reverted to previous Windows 10 version and all is well again.
Is there a fix for this?
Will my Windows 10 try again to update to the problem version?

Another Windows 10 screw up . these Automatic "upgrades " make w 10 navigation ever more difficult .. why are the Techs so intent on removing tried and true features , for their fancied improvements ?? w 10 is a continuing Disaster
