I have not received the Anniversary Update automatically.
I have tried installing manually without success, so I have given up trying until the Creators Update is available.
Will I be able to skip the A.U. and go straight to the Creators Update.
I have Windows 10 Pro. installed.

Yes, or at least you should be able to upgrade any previous version of Windows 10 to the Creators Update, although......
It is also being provided as a staged roll-out and may not be presented to your particular computer anytime soon if at all depending on multiple variables (AKA.... Microsoft's whim).

The "Creators Update" is already out and available and can be downloaded using the media creation tool here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Which you can use to secure the ISO, from which you can create installation media and perform the in-place upgrade from that.

No matter what, when or how you decide to proceed......
DO NOT do anything without first creating a known good disk image of your current install (all partitions on your primary hard disk).

AND
By "known good" I mean an image that you can mount or otherwise explore to confirm that your files (images, documents, videos, music, etc.) will open (from that image).
