Annoying text popup when hovering over search

Hi

I am trying to disable the text popup that is shown when you hover over the search icon on the task bar.
This is affecting me actually using the search function. When I am about to click the icon this text "Search the web and windows" pops up and makes it so you cannot click the search.

 

[Trouble]

Does changing the presentation for search from a box to an icon help with the issue.
Right click the taskbar, the option to change it from one to the other should be there.

Hi thanks for the reply. The only options are hidden or show search icon.
I do want the search function there but the pain in the butt comment gone.
