I am having difficulties in communication between my desktop and laptop. The desktop is Windows 7 and the laptop is Windows 10. Both computers recognize each other and the laptop can access the desktop folders but the desktop cannot communicate at all. The desktop has a workgroup but the laptop cannot connect with it even though I have input the relevant homegroup password. The message is that a homegroup cannot be created on the computer. The same message appears if I delete the homegroup and try to create one on the laptop. Is it co-incidental that the problem started after the upgrade to Windows 10?
