HELP PLEASE!!! Two weeks ago, I upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit from my previous Windows 7 operating system. However, since then, whenever I watch or stream videos online, be it youtube, Netflix or other internet sites, my laptop would just automatically shuts down. But when I turn it on again, It starts up alright without any problems except that it will show an error message which states that:

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\atibtmon.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Then when I start to watch a video again, it shuts down again :-(

I am not a tech wiz so I haven't done anything yet to fix it. My laptop is an HP G62 Notebook running an AMD Dual-Core processor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hi Trouble, thank you for the link information. I did the battery settings reset and the runtime error is not showing anymore after that.

However, my other problem, which is the automatic shut down of my laptop whenever I play/watch/stream videos online still persists. This only started happening when I upgraded to Windows 10.

I am actually considering switching back to Windows 7 but I'm afraid there might be bigger consequences. I actually like my Windows 7 better. I have no problem streaming videos online before.

I really wish someone on here might know how to solve my problem...
