Bank id not remembered

When I visit our bank website it has a box for my user id. I tick the box to remember this id on this computer it never does. Also another financial site that I visit always thinks that I am logging on with a new device despite the fact that I only use the same computer I have to put in a otp that is sent to my moile phone. How can I sort this minor irritation please thanks to all that may help

Do you run any cache cleaning programs like CCleaner or have you set the browser to clear automatically on closing? If yes then this is why it is not remembering the log in as the cookies are being deleted.
