Hi all
I've upgraded my wife's laptop to Windows 10 and overall it's fine, except that the battery is always at 100% according to Wimdows. When it runs out the machine then goes into a hard shutdown.
I've done the obvious stuff, started on AC only, drained battery and removed the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery driver, built a new power plan and installed all available updates and drivers from Microsoft and HP with no luck.
Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone managed to resolve it? Has anyone upgraded from Windows 8.1 (where battery meter was fine) and not had this problem?
Advanced answers preffered.
Many thanks
